This week we are featuring design studio Atelier Interior Design who created this outdoor oasis for their clients; a sanctuary in the city.

Atelier is a full service, award-winning interior design firm. Their designs are centered around vibrant color and pattern complimented with textural and sculptural details.  Their style can be described as eclectic taking inspiration from travel and cultural influences that inspire their work.

This outdoor area embodies the eclectic and global inspiration, which is exactly what the client wanted.  The client had moved from a large Victorian style property to this contemporary four story property.  The move was a chance for them to go for a complete style overhaul.  The client had a very eclectic style but wanted to combine this with a more contemporary look in keeping with the style of the property.  Atelier Interior Design was the ideal choice to help them with this style transition.

Outdoor Oasis

Atelier Interior Design described how the patio was a fun part of the overall project because the clients really wanted to make it their own oasis in the city with plants and vibrant natural colors like blue and green. They loved the clean style of the Solus Hemi fire bowl.  They customized the look of the Hemi fire bowl by purchasing extra bags of the fire stones to cover up the lava to give it a more natural look.
