Preparing for Chelsea Flower Show 2021

The Solus team are excited to be preparing once again for Chelsea Flower Show, which is set to take place in September this year.  After last year was cancelled we are thrilled to be able to able to show our products again at the world famous show and have the opportunity to collaborate with some fantastic brands that compliment the Solus fire and water features.

This year the RHS are breaking with tradition by holding the Chelsea Flower Show in September rather than the historic May date. This creates both challenges and opportunities for the designers working on the show gardens due to the change in season and the need to look at alternative options for plants in bloom at that time of year.

It’s lovely to see how garden designers are translating the challenges faced by the health system over the last year with tributes through their garden designs at Chelsea Flower Show this year. These gardens have an emphasis on calm and tranquility, with the idea of these spaces being a place of sanctuary.

Solus Decor will be creating our very own retreat for Chelsea Flower Show with a touch of a woodland escape inspired by the wonderful new National Trust range recently launched by Artizan of Devises. We have collaborated with Artizan of Devises for the show this year and can’t wait to use the woodland glade porcelain tiles.  We have taken colour inspiration from the tiles, which we hope to continue in the planting set against an oak backdrop created by the decking from Envirobuild.

We can’t to see our fire and water products on display with this woodland retreat backdrop, we will be exhibiting a range of both fire and water and we are thrilled to be exhibiting our Tavolo fire table for the first time in the UK.  We hope to see you there!
