About Solus

Since 1998, Solus Decor has been designing, casting, assembling, selling and shipping concrete products including fire pits, water features and fireplace surrounds from Vancouver, BC, Canada. With a showroom and warehouse in the UK (solusdecor.co.uk ) and our most recent showroom and warehouse in Valencia Spain we have definitely gone global. At last count we shipped to over 30 countries and some 9,000 installations since our inception– we know a little something about fire and water features and getting them to a site successfully no matter where. Solus products include firepits, fireplace surrounds, tiles and water features. Being manufactured in Canada, our products are built to withstand the extreme temperatures that the Canadian climate can produce.

Our firepits and fire tables are approved by CSA, ANSI, UKCA and CE certifications. We are audited by our external certification lab with regularity. We build the components for our firepits which allows us to control both the quality as well as every finishing detail. Although perfection eludes us, our best measure of success is what our customers have to say about our staff and our products. Today, our highly collaborative team of 20, design and produce beautiful, long-lasting objects that run counter to a culture obsessed with trends and disposability, much like concrete itself. Our team is made up of artisans, designers, sales and support who strive to consistently create, produce, and deliver high-quality goods that are shipped worldwide. They take extreme pride in their work and their craftsmanship is evident. Therefore, Solus product doesn’t leave our plant until our staff are 100% satisfied. The basic Solus understanding – if you wouldn’t put it in your own home, it cannot go out the door to our customer. Our design arises from our love of concrete: Its longevity and its ability to translate into elegant simple forms.

A new design or a product redesign can come from any of our team. Or it can result from a simple suggestion from a landscape designer, architect, client or end-user who simply says “what about” or “could you”.

We are dedicated to the artisanal making of modern fire pits, fire tables,water features, tiles and fireplace surrounds that showcase the qualities of materials and help to build better living spaces. Our basic design philosophy is to create beautiful, enduring products and to attend to all of the intricacies that make each product both visually and functionally successful. Our products are built to withstand the test of time with elegance and a timeless quality and is known for its inimitable Solus style.
