Solus products are made to exacting standards and to be candid we are very fussy. Solus products are hand cast and our production team takes great pride in creating the finest concrete in North America if not the world. The team scrutinizes every piece once it is poured and again when it is hand finished. On occasion I am called into the factory for an opinion to determine whether the quality is # 1. Our rule of thumb is as follows: In our showroom we have all of the Solus firepits, fireplace surrounds and tiles on display – if the product we pour cannot be displayed proudly in our showroom then it is not of first quality.
Therefore we often end up with pieces and sometimes overages that don’t live up to our first class standards. We export all over the world, therefore we will take photos of the products on this list and do our level best to communicate this clearly. We will not sell products that we could not have in our own homes – 2nds included.
