With the cold weather finally behind us, we can begin to enjoy our gardens and outdoor spaces. Solus has launched some new additions to our outdoor product line up.
Due to popular demand, we now offer an ethanol-burning version of our 26" Hemi Firebowl. This version of our fire pit uses a clean-burning corn-based fuel that burns in a protective glass cylinder. This allows it to be used outdoors, and indoors without a flue. The firebowl is available in all of our 12 High-performance colours.
Our new planters for 2009 are the Round and the Ripple. The Round is a 20" diameter, 24" tall, slightly conical shape cast in Solus High-performance concrete and available in 12 colours. As the name suggests, the Ripple has a wavy outer surface to accentuate its broad form. The Ripple is 42"x29"x30"h and was designed in conjunction with Westin St Francis hotel in San Francisco.

Solus was pleased to receive the Best Exhibit award at the Design Northwest, Feb 11-12 this year. Our annual appearance at this showcased some of our custom capabilities in the outdoor furnishings arena in a booth that was covered with thousands of origami flowers. As part of my condo renovation I had Solus build and install a fireplace mantle. From the moment I walked into their store I knew everything would go smoothly. A very knowledgeable salesperson guided me through the selection process, and got me in touch with an installer who turned out to be a great craftsman. My condo has never looked better!
